Martha Worthley’s work for this exhibit spans nearly 40 years of creating home in Port Townsend. The Jefferson County Historical Society is excited to open three new exhibits in September at the Museum of Art + History.

Eden Bloom from the Curating Empathy project, the exhibit highlights the housing crisis through photographs, narratives, and objects. Visitors will gain insight into the challenges and resilience of unhoused neighbors, as well as the agencies that support them.

“Over the past 35 years my art practice has continued to evolve and thread its way through time and place. Walking is important to my process. It connects the external world and the inner world of the studio. On my ritual paths I notice daily and seasonal changes, recording what attracts my attention, ‘navigating’ my way through time.”
