Join us on Thursday, May 14, from 6 - 7PM at the JCHS Museum of Art + History for an intimate artist talk with Martha Worthley, exploring her exhibition More Love, on view through August 23.

Martha’s exhibition spans four decades of work. During this relaxed gallery walk, she’ll share insights into her process, materials, and inspirations, with time for audience questions. This cozy gathering offers a rare opportunity to connect directly with the artist.

STORIES FROM THE ROTHSCHILD HOUSE: A PRESENTAION EXPLORING THE ROTHSCHILD FAMILY

Whether you’ve visited the Rothschild House or are new to its history, this is a chance to go a little deeper. Join us on Wednesday, July 22 at the Cotton Building for an intimate look at the family who lived there for nearly 90 years.

Built in 1868 and preserved with remarkable care, the Rothschild House offers a rare glimpse into everyday life at the turn of the century. Nearly everything inside belonged to the family, from furniture and keepsakes to small traces of daily living that remain throughout the house.

Through stories, objects, and personal details, we’ll bring the Rothschilds into focus, offering a more personal way of understanding one of Port Townsend’s most familiar historic homes.
