Join Port Townsend artist and author Meg Kaczyk for a special evening conversation exploring her powerful exhibition, Notes from Next to the Bed: A caregiving love story in words & pictures, on view through August 24 in the Wilson Gallery.



In this intimate talk, Meg will be joined by Martha Worthley, artist and Executive Director of Northwind Art, for a conversation about caregiving, creative resilience, and the art of processing grief through writing and painting. Meg will read an excerpt from her book, speak about her daily art practice and the evolution of her work, and take questions from the audience.


Books will be available for purchase and signing.

  • Due to limited space, pre-registration is required.

  • Doors open at 6PM. The talk will run from approximately 6:15PM to 7:15PM.

  • Guests are welcome to view the exhibition before and after the talk.

  • Can't attend the talk? Visit the Museum Thursday–Sunday, 11AM–4PM, to see the exhibition during regular hours.
