Jefferson County Historical Society
JCHS Mission: To actively discover, collect, preserve, and promote the heritage of
Jefferson County in the State of Washington.

The Jefferson County Historical Society is an incorporated, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in the downtown historic district of Port Townsend. Since 1951, the JCHS Museum has welcomed visitors to the landmark City Hall building at 540 Water Street.

We invite you to become a member by sending a membership application indicating your chosen membership level, along with your membership dues to: Jefferson County Historical Society, 540 Water Street, Port Townsend, WA 98368.

All dues are paid annually. Benefits of membership include: free admission to the JCHS Museum, Rothschild House and Research Library, a 10% discount on purchases of historic photograph reprints and Museum Shop items, invitations to members-only previews of new exhibits, receptions, and other JCHS events.
