Our Mission
History for all ages!
To increase knowledge,
understanding, and appreciation of Jefferson County history through projects and
programs directed at residents and visitors of all ages, with
particular attention to school-aged children.

The Education Committee raises funds for scholarships for Jefferson County
students.

The JCHS Education Committee brings local history to local school
children both in and out of the classroom.
Here, a group is gathering for
a tour of the Rothschild House.

Committee Chair, Robin Ornelas, shares Museum
exhibits with visitors from local schools.

Committee members have created five "Museums in a
Trunk" for use in class rooms. Here, a student shows what she's learned
from the trunk about the native peoples of the North Olympic Peninsula.
